About The Event
Techspark is the student-focused aspect of the Nigeria Fintech Week which is aimed at exposing students to innovation and job-creating opportunities, for them to learn, inspire and network. This initiative features tech giants from all around the globe and the previous editions have had the likes of Google, G.E, Facebook, Microsoft, Oracle etc.
TechSpark so far...
The 2021 edition of Techspark featured the launch of Digistuds, the digital academy project created to equip undergraduates and graduates of public tertiary institutions with digital know-how that prepares them for the workforce of the future and create digital entrepreneurs from campuses. This digital academy has graduated its first cohort of 200 students.
EVENT MODE
Since the emergence of Covid, Techspark has been held as a hybrid (multi-locational) event. While we have some participants at the physical venue, viewing centers are set up in the different participating institutions all over the country for students and lecturers to participate.
